My wife, our three children, and myself reserved a night at this hotel on Saturday, June 20 after attending my brothers wedding in South Bend. After the wedding we went back to the hotel around 8:00 P.M. and I took my kids down to the pool. Apparently the manager had rented out 5 rooms to a women that was throwing a party for her teenage daughter. The pool had over 40 teenagers in it and they were extremely rowdy and belligerent. After 10 minutes, we left when they threw my sons shoes in the pool and tried to use our towels to whip the other kids. The manager said that she would handle this, but nothing happened. By 9:00 there were over 60 teenagers at the hotel, and we had enough. While we were down at the pool, several teenagers tried to break into our room while my wife was there alone, and when she left to go find us, they made rude sexual comment towards her. We decide that the hotel (teenage party place) was no place for our family so we asked to leave at about 9:00 P.M. The manager said that she would not refund us our money, and we had to call the police to get an escort out to our car because 20-30 other teenagers were hanging out in the parking lot loitering by our car. This was the worst hotel experience we have ever had, and since we couldn't find another hotel with a vacancy, we drove three hours back to Michigan and got home at 1:00A.M. I would advise any family to atay away from this hotel at all costs.
